One of Arizona’s most affluent and luxurious communities, Paradise Valley has become one of, if not the most, desirable neighborhoods in the state. Over half the population holds a bachelor’s degree or higher, and many work in professional, white-collar positions, often at the executive or managerial level. As a result, the average annual household income for the community is nearly four times the national average. Homes in the area are also some of the priciest in the state, with an average home value well over $1.5 million. 

 

The beautiful weather is one of the many reasons residents have found this area to be so attractive. There are numerous outdoor recreational activities for residents to take part in, including golf courses, outdoor shopping, hiking trails, and more.

 

The dining scene in Paradise Valley is inarguably one of the best around, with numerous award-winning restaurants and highly-rated eateries lining the streets. El Chorro is a unique and unforgettable dining experience, serving authentic Arizona flavors with dishes like flash-fried lobster bites, chipotle and pomegranate glazed sausage, braised beef short ribs, and grilled lamb chops.

This one-of-a-kind art gallery focuses on selling works by local Arizona artists and features a unique collection of bronze and ceramic wind-bells that have become extremely popular with the community.

 

While Phoenix and Scottsdale are just short drives away from this elite community, there is so much for residents to do in their spare time right in Paradise Valley. Mummy Mountain Preserve is certainly a local hotspot for anyone interested in off-trail hiking. With over 200 acres held by the local trust, it’s easy to feel like you’ve wandered into another world when you visit this stunning landscape.  

 

Barry Goldwater Park is another Paradise Valley favorite. This small and well-cared-for park is perfect for an afternoon stroll or taking a closer look at their collection of Boojum cacti.
